Electrical work for your home

Here is what each job covers. If yours isn't listed, describe it in a quote request and we will tell you if it is something we can take on.

Fault finding and repairs

A breaker that keeps tripping, a socket that went dead, lights that flicker when the kettle goes on. These are the calls that matter most, and they start with finding the actual cause.

  • Tracing tripping breakers and blown fuses
  • Dead sockets, switches and light circuits
  • Flickering, buzzing or warm fittings
  • Repairs made and the circuit tested afterwards

Lighting

New fittings, or old ones that never worked right. Indoors and out.

  • Ceiling lights, pendants and spotlights fitted or replaced
  • Dimmer switches and two-way switching
  • Outdoor, porch and garden lights
  • Under-cabinet and feature lighting
No. iii

Sockets and switches

More sockets where you need them, and fewer extension leads on the floor.

  • Extra sockets added to a room
  • Sockets and switches moved or replaced
  • USB sockets and modern plates
  • Cracked or scorched fittings made safe
No. iv

Fuse box and panel upgrades

An old board is often where problems start. A new one brings modern protection.

  • Old fuse boxes and panels replaced
  • Modern breakers and earth-leakage protection
  • Circuits labelled clearly
  • Board checked and tested after fitting
No. v

Rewiring and new circuits

For older homes, renovations and extensions, planned around how you live.

  • Full or partial rewires
  • New circuits for kitchens, extensions and workshops
  • Planned with you room by room
  • Work arranged around your other trades
No. vi

EV chargers and appliances

Big loads need their own circuit, sized and protected for the job.

  • Home EV charger installation
  • Ovens, hobs and cookers connected
  • Air conditioning units wired in
  • Water heaters and other fixed appliances
No. vii

Safety checks

A clear look over the whole installation, with the findings explained.

  • Before buying, selling or letting a property
  • Older wiring that hasn't been looked at in years
  • After a flood, a fire or a scare
  • Written notes on anything that needs attention

Before you book

Prices
Every job is different, so there is no price list here. You get a clear quote before any work starts, and nothing extra is added without your OK.
Something urgent
If something is sparking, smells of burning or keeps tripping, switch off at the main switch if it is safe to do so, keep away from it, and call.
Bigger projects
For rewires and renovations a visit comes first, so the quote is based on your actual walls and wiring rather than a guess over the phone.
